Can I just start by praising the Lord and saying he is so good! We are in BURKINA FASO! There are so many things along the way that could have gone wrong but they did not. Actually the flights and paper work went smoother than expected!
Our little family arrived in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso at 8 pm Saturday (3pm EST). We were greeted by Missionary, Jason Rishel and his disciple Abdoul. We stayed the night with the Shumakers family and had the joy of going to church with them the next morning. Azariah has been an incredibly good little guy though this all! He loves his sleep of course as he adjusts to the new schedule and climate.
Nate had the opportunity to preach in Missionary Keith Shumaker’s church there in Ouagadougou. He had two translators – one for French and one for the tribal language. Following church we ate a quick, delicious at the Shumakers and headed to Bobo Dioulasso with Jason and Abdoul.
We are excited to finally be in BoBo and begin getting set up here! Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement during this time. God has been our anchor through this change and he has proven himself faithful!
